Question 5: In your opinion, what is one thing the City could do to build a strong ethical culture in City government? City government is rotten at the top. This past week the front page of the Inquirer was as story about the illegal and corrupt practices of a City Council member. Why should city employees care about ethics when their leaders are unethical and corrupt? It is impossible to have an ethical and honest workforce when our leadership is neither of those things. Work with the FBI to remove our elected leadership and we can start to talk about having integrity. Every day I strive to treat my customers fairly and equitably. The actions of our leadership is a slap in the face to my efforts.
