Question 5: In your opinion, what is one thing the City could do to build a strong ethical culture in City government? Training, training, training. So much of the culture that is bred in the workplace is what has been trickled down from the higher-ups. I'm fortunate enough to have a great boss I can always depend upon for ethical behavior and that is inclusive and understands that not everyone is like him and that other people's opinions matter. Not everyone has that and I've witnessed it firsthand. Sometimes intensive education is necessary for folks to relearn what they used to think was right and understand that our evolving society does not always subscribe to the notions brought forth by the people before us.
